FAQs

What are the requirements for my dog to join the pack?

We require that all dogs are up to date on core vaccines, social with others dogs (able to participate in group play understanding some dogs are better with others just like us humans)  and have had some crate exposure as we utilize crates for feeding, nap time and sleeping at night.

Pricing, discounts and additional costs?

he cost for one dog is $40 per night, more than 2 dogs the rate goes to $35 per night. We also offer a 10% discount for stays longer than 14 days and the limo service is $15 each way (quickbooks invoice will be sent at the end of the stay)

How does the DogCreek Limo service work and why is it best to utilize this service?

The limo service picks up and drops off from your home Monday through Friday from 9am-1pm. We are more than happy to use a key, code, yard drop off or special instructions if you are not available during this time. We will send you a message when your dog has been picked up or dropped off. We are also available by appointment only on Saturdays for pick up/drop off and are closed to human guests on Sundays for “family day”. After many years we have found that transitioning from pick up as opposed to being “left” and wondering where my family is is the easiest for the dogs and humans. We want their stay to be an easy one right into camplife.

What does a typical day look like?

Potty bell rings sometime between 6-7:30am and we all head out to do our business. After we have done that, stretched out our legs a bit and realized tummies are getting hungry it’s time for breakfast. Once breakfast is served we have a nap time to let things digest (helps eliminate bloat possibilities and upset tummies) Then back out we go to enjoy the day, depending on the weather it might be shorter periods out many times throughout the day (rainy rainy days or hot hot days) or nice longer durations to enjoy the beautiful PNW weather. Once the dinner bell rings the line starts and in we go.  Dinner is served sometime between 5-7pm and late potty is between 8-9pm. Everyone then is tucked in with a late night treat and some soulful music to dream of dancing rabbits and prancing horses and then we wake up and do it all over again…..

Where does my dog sleep?

All of the dogs sleep in wire crates located in the Adventure Cabin on our property. The Adventure Cabin is fully equipped with a kitchen, cuddle lounge, heated/air conditioned, has a fully fenced outdoor play yard and is monitored 24/7 (we do not offer any type of remote monitoring…our social media helps with that though)

Are all the dogs social?

We require all dogs to be people and dog friendly, with that being said we are monitoring them at all times during our group play and keep everything safe and positive for the guests. We typically have puppy groups, senior groups and party animal groups matching play style and temperaments.

Do you offer any other services?

We currently offer boarding and that is to ensure your dog’s vacation is top notch

What do I need to pack for my dog's next adventure?

We ask that you pack the amount of food needed for their stay labeled with their name on it. Any special treats or medications labeled with their name on it and note with dose and frequency. If you would like to send along a little something that smells like home that would be great too. We just can’t guarantee it will make it back home…let’s just say what happens at camp stays at camp 🙂 We do NOT need  bowls, leashes, important toys or blankets.

Do you take puppies?

We take dogs of all ages and suggest if you are an avid traveler starting them out early as the socialization from the pack can help them learn proper play and positive experiences. We also cater to senior pups and have a set up with all flat surfaces and fully fenced yard straight from the adventure cabin to ensure our blind and/or deaf guests don’t wander off
